| Rated capacity and actual capacity of Panasonic battery |
| Time:2019-03-04 Source:Panasonic Views:1235 |
The capacity units of Panasonic batteries are A. h and W. H. In this paper, the most popular A. h is used. The capacity of Panasonic battery can be divided into theoretical capacity, actual capacity and rated capacity. The theoretical capacity of battery charge and discharge detector is the highest value calculated according to certain methods of active substances; the actual capacity of maintenance-free Panasonic battery is the output of discharge energy under certain conditions, which is less than the theoretical capacity; the rated capacity of battery is also called guaranteed capacity, which is the minimum capacity value that should be released under certain discharge conditions according to the standards issued by the state.
_Capacity is generally expressed by capital letter C and its footnote (discharge rate), and the number of ampere-hour (A. h) on the battery shell is the rated capacity. Footprint 20 refers to 20 h rate, commonly used internationally; Footprint 10 refers to 10 h rate, commonly used for ordinary batteries; Footprint 2 refers to 2 h rate, commonly used for electric bicycle batteries.
For example, a common 12V battery with a 2h rate of 10A h means that the battery is fully charged and discharges continuously at 5A constant current. The discharge time when the terminal voltage is lower than 10.5V must not be less than 2h. Battery Charge and Discharge Detector here discharge current commonly used 0.1C (that is, 10 h rate), 0.05C (20 h rate), 0.5C (2 h rate) and so on, that is to divide the number of hours by the rate of hours, the unit is ampere A. The discharge cut-off voltage of the nominal 12V battery is 10.5V. The reason that capacity must be marked with discharge rate is that different discharge rates of the same battery lead to different capacities.
